Wound edge protector separates edges of the incision from contact with visceral contents, instruments and gloves during the procedure, while translucent plastic allows visualisation of wound edges. Product Benefits: Soft polythene ring helps to prevent accumulation of endogenous and exogenous bacteria on wound edge. Reduces risk of tissue necrosis from long procedure exposure. Four adhesive patches secure drape and prevent slippage. Polyethylene film prevents strike-through and subsequent contamination of surgical site.
